About SLATE

SLATE is a small e-paper display, sitting on my table, which anyone can draw on! Whatever you create will get uploaded to it instantly and I will hopefully see it :)

The display only has three colors — black, white, and red — so the color palette is pretty limited.

SLATE is only active when my computer is turned on, which, in your timezone, is usually between %from% and %to%. When my computer is off, you can still draw something and queue it up (provided someone hasn't queued up a drawing before you) and it will upload the next time I turn my computer on.

SLATE Privacy Policy

1. What is collected: I store the drawings you send along with their timestamps, anonymously. Specific IP addresses or any identifying metadata aren't stored and browser fingerprints aren't being collected. Cloudflare processes all requests and creates aggregated anonymized reports, but no data is linked to you. All drawings are automatically deleted after 1 year.

2. Your rights: If you drew something and want it deleted before the 1-year expiration date, email me at [email protected]. Since drawings are stored anonymously, you'll have to include a description (or screenshot, or recreation) of your drawing and the approximate time you sent it.
